Bonnie Hofmeyer

Executive Director

Bonnie oversees all programs, staff, & operations of organization. She came to SynerGeo in August 2002 to help Bill Berry with the year old non-profit. She has worked in SynerGeo’s various programs and outreach work. Bonnie graduated from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR) in 2002. Bonnie lives in Charles City. Her favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes. Her favorite bands are U2, REM, and is wishing for a Police reunion.

Joey Austin

Coordinator for Social Justice Events

Joey provides assistance with the after-school programs Artsplosion! & Kids on the Hill. He is also a Jonah House resident and coordinates social justice events. Joey was born and raised in Merced, California. He then moved to Virginia Beach with family and then went off to Richmond for college at VCU. He majored in Religious studies and is currently studying at BTSR for a Masters in Theology....we think. His favorite cereal is Honey bunches of Oats and favorite music is literally anything that he can bug out to. Patsy Kline all the way to Jill Scott. But he prefers contempory black gospel and rhythm and blues.

Associate Art Director & a Jonah House Resident

Caite is a Junior attending VCU. As a Jonah House resident, Caite also assits with our programs.
